Whatever Happened To?

Surfergirlbj1

Whatever happened to that chick on the first series of "The Block" who was a singer pianist and released a single? I remember she played at our local jazz bar thingy when I lived in Bondi and she was courted by the Eastern suburbs socialite set for at least a whole week. I can't remember her name now, can anyone?

she wrote it all herself, so thats a huge put-down... not that I care! Just thought u should know... she was sony's attempt at a real artist, guess it flopped so they havent ever tried that again - stick with manufactured crap that will earn them millions.... by the way.. I hate amity :p

Lol, Amity Dry that's right. A name I always thought seemed more fitting to a crisp beer than a performer.

It's a shame in a way that Sony signed her. Although according to Simon Cowell there is no longer such a thing as an artist who can write their own material and be commercially successful. She might have done better just to do some live stuff around the city before hitting it "big"...and bombing.

That gay couple from "The Block" Wozza and watshhisname still seem to get some occasional exposure on Channel 9 tho. I hope they don't bother with a third "The Block" tho!

There was another "The Block" singer at one of the Carols last December. I couldn't remember which one she was. I didn't even know she sung.
