On a Brighter Note

The We are What we Do movement aims to demonstrate how small actions can bring profound change to other people on the planet.
Largely directed at environmental change, I like the idea of this principle for life as a whole. Turning off unnecessary lights or turning on a smile for a stranger can make the world a better place :)
- Plant a tree
- Make a cup of tea for a colleague
- Have a bath with someone you love :)
With actions such as these saving our planet seems so simple

I was watching Sunrise for a moment thismorning and noticed a segment on a book devoted to improving the world by small deeds. They discussed how mowing your neighbours naturestrip would be a good idea. I almost wet myself on this one. When Pania went to mow the neighbours nature strip the old lady came rushing out yelling at her to stop. Actually we were mowing what was in front of our house and just ensuring it was all done the same. But she said she wanted to mow that (or rather her son does it). So sometimes, a kind thought can be your worst enemy. Haven't I learned that this year!
